SMS Terms
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Program Description
Shredr operates the Shredr valet pickup SMS notification program. After paying for valet service by phone, customers receive a transactional SMS containing a virtual key code used to retrieve their car keys from a Keycafe smartbox at the partner airport.
Opt-In Methods
- Verbal consent during phone payment. A Shredr operator collects verbal consent to send SMS notifications during the call in which valet service is paid for.
- Reply START. Customers who previously opted out can re-subscribe by replying START to any prior Shredr message.
See our SMS Notifications and Consent page for the full consent script and process.
Opt-Out Instructions
Reply STOP to any Shredr SMS to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help and support contact info.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies. A typical valet customer receives one to two messages per transaction (virtual key delivery and optional pickup confirmation).
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Shredr does not charge for SMS messages, but standard carrier rates from your mobile provider may apply.
Supported Carriers
Compatible with major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
